Sliced Tomatoes Mozzarella Rounds (Printable version)

# What you need:

→ Vegetables & Cheese

01 - 3 large ripe tomatoes, sliced into ½-inch rounds
02 - 9 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced into ½-inch rounds
03 - 1 small bunch fresh basil leaves

→ Dressing

04 - 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
05 - 1 tbsp balsamic glaze (optional)
06 - Salt, to taste
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Steps to follow:

01 - Place alternating slices of tomato and mozzarella on a serving platter, slightly overlapping each slice.
02 - Insert whole basil leaves between the layers of tomato and mozzarella.
03 - Drizzle extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze over the layered slices.
04 - Sprinkle salt and freshly ground black pepper according to taste.
05 - Serve immediately or chill briefly before serving.
